How OFAC file updates are handled
ISU is a registered OFAC notification company. When there is a change, OFAC E-mails and informs ISU of changes and when they are effective. ISU uses the files that are changed and updates the ISU files. ISU will then E-Mail a designated individual in your organization. That individual will then select Menu Item #1 in the ISU-OFAC System. The system will automatically connect to the ISU FTP Site and download the necessary files into the appropriate area within the ISU-OFAC System. The system is now up to date. The frequency of updates is unknown. For example, one month in 2003 had no updates and another month had five updates.
